My name is Sally Dokis, and I am a registered social worker from Dokis First Nation. I utilize Indigenous and non-Indigenous models of care when working with clients.
The principles that guide my clinical counselling are from Indigenous and mainstream methods of healing. My focus in my clinical practice is Mino-bimaadiziwin (the Good Life) when working with clients.
My experience includes working with children, youth, adults, groups, and couples. I have experience working with Indigenous people in areas such as mental health, addictions, mental health with children and adolescents, forensic social work, grief therapy, life coaching, emotional health, and trauma response.
